Center for Transformative Action

The Center for Transformative Action (CTA) helps to create communities that work for everyone. We do this by providing fiscal sponsorship to innovative social change agents in New York State, as well as financial, human resources, and grants management services. CTA is an educational non-profit organization affiliated with Cornell University.

Cooperative Extension Tompkins County puts a wealth of useful, research-based information at your finger tips!  In addition to what you’ll find here on our website, we offer free or low-cost workshops on topics that range from how to start an organic garden to making a home spending plan. Definitions:

PURE (pyʊər) –adv, adj: a state of being where we are all one.

PUREPROJECT (pyʊər proʒɛkt) – n: a project that uses creativity to advance a common good in the world.

Creativity – the process of having original ideas that have value.
